Members of the press may apply for complimentary press registration to attend and cover the 15th World Congress on ITS.  Press registration will open in January 2008.  If you have any questions, please contact the ITS America Communications Office at 202.721.4205.

Credential Requirements
When you apply for press registration, you will be asked to select the type of organization that you will be representing at 15th World Congress on ITS.  Those requesting press registrations must be currently employed by a publication or news organization as journalist or photographer. Account representatives, sales executives, book authors, analysts and reporters with association publications do not meet the criteria for press registration.

Business and Trade Publications/News Wire Services
Reporters from industry trade publications, newspapers and wire services must provide a business card or sample of an article published within the past six months that clearly displays authorship.

Television and Radio
Broadcast reporters and producers from news organizations must provide a business card or a letter of assignment.

Online News Outlets
An online news outlet must contain original news content above and beyond links, forums, troubleshooting tips and reader contributors.  Each news outlet must have a paid reporting staff of two or more and most post original, dated, industry-related news at least once per week.  Site may require registration but not charge for access to information.

Contributing Editors and Reporters, Freelance Writers
Contributing editors, reporters and freelance writers must verify they have been retained to cover ITS America’s 2007 Annual Meeting & Exposition by presenting an original letter of assignment.

University Publications
Reporters and editors must provide at least two bylined articles published within the last six months and must verify they have been retained to cover ITS America’s 2007 Annual Meeting & Exposition by presenting an original letter of assignment from the university. University publications are limited to one representative.

Newsletters
Newsletter reporters must have a registered subscriber base of at least 2,000 and must provide a business card or a letter of assignment.
