Through SAFE TRIP-21, the U.S. Department of Transportation will help further the acceptance and adoption of technolgies designed to prevent vehicle crashes and alleviate congestion in both urban and rural settings by providing drivers and transit and commercial motor vehicle operators with real-time safety warnings, traffic transit, traveler information, and navigational tools.
SAFE TRIP-21 will demonstrate how ITS technology can improve safety and enhance the travel experience. As part of the World Congress, you will have a unique hands-on opportunity to witness and experience these exciting technologies in the real-world setting of New York City.
